The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) published on February 10, 2022 about the new nomination issuance statistics.
Manitoba nominated 272 skilled workers and approved 3 business concepts in January 2022. The province also refused 5 skilled worker applications. MPNP invited 2,920 skilled workers, 2 business concepts and sent LAAs to 5 business candidates.
The MPNP received 841 applications from skilled workers and 1 application from a business candidate in January 2022. Currently, the province is assessing 688 applications, and the other 2,125 applications are pending assessment. Also, Manitoba nominated 19 Express Entry candidates.
The expressions of interest from Skilled Worker Overseas candidates have only been considered if they:
were directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment initiative or
have an IRCC Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code
Also, a candidate invited with an IRCC Express Entry ID and job seeker validation code will be eligible for a nomination only if the Express Entry profile is valid at the time of application assessment.
