471 skilled trades candidates were invited by the OINP

The Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) invited 471 applicants for its Skilled Trades Stream on March 24, 2022.

The invited candidates had a CRS score range of 350-600. All invitees have their profiles created in the Express Entry system between March 24, 2021, to March 24, 2022. Applicants who received a notification of interest on March 24, 2022 do not need to contact the program and can apply.

In 2022, Ontario invited 2,321 candidates in 3 draws under the Skilled Trades Stream. The OINP already invited 7,779 candidates under all streams of OINP in 2022. Candidates for the Skilled Trades draw must have at least one year of cumulative full-time work experience (or the equivalent in part-time work) in Ontario.

Skilled trades must be classified in Minor Group 633 or Major Groups 72, 73 or 82 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC). Note that you must have a valid license or certificate in Ontario at the time of your application. You must also have held a valid certificate or license covering the period of your work experience.
