The government of Ontario held new draws in the Employer Job Offer FW (EJO FW) and In-Demand Skills Stream (EJO IDS) of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) on February 9, 2022.
The province issued 166 invitations to apply (ITAs) to the eligible candidates through the EJO FW Stream with a minimum score of 41. In addition, the province issued 476 ITAs to foreign workers in the skilled trades occupations with a minimum score of 24 in the targeted draw of the EJO FW Stream.
Under the EJO IDS, the province invited 107 candidates with a minimum score of 15. In total, OINP issued invitations to 4,195 candidates in 2022.
In a separate draw, the OINP issued targeted invitations to apply for applicants under the EJO FW with a score of 24 or higher and work experience in the following national occupation codes (NOC):
Mechanical engineering technologists and technicians - NOC 2232
Industrial engineering and manufacturing technologists and technicians - NOC 2233
Electronic service technicians (household and business equipment) - NOC 2242
Industrial instrument technicians and mechanics - NOC 2243
Drafting technologists and technicians - NOC 2253
User support technicians - NOC 2282
Information systems testing technicians NOC 2283
Contractors and supervisors, machining, metal forming, shaping and erecting trades and related occupations - NOC 7201
Contractors and supervisors, electrical trades and telecommunications occupations - NOC 7202
Contractors and supervisors, pipefitting trades - NOC 7203, etc
