The government of Manitoba held the fifth draw for Ukrainian candidates on June 21, 2022.

In this draw, the province invited 14 candidates through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). To be eligible, applicants must be

  • have a minimum of CLB 4 in each language band

  • have connections to the province (close relative, family-like, community, previous employment or studies in Manitoba)

  • score at least 60 points and

  • possess a valid language test in one of the official languages

In total, the province invited 134 Ukrainian nationals. In 2022, MPNP issued invitations to 2,741 applicants, including 534 Express Entry candidates.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program will conduct regular EOI draws for people who meet all MPNP eligibility criteria and are affected by the ongoing events in Ukraine as part of the Manitoba government's response and in alignment with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada's special immigration measures.
