Ontario has introduced the average application processing times in the OINP

Ontario updated the average processing time in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) on February 10, 2022.

The processing time for Ontario's Master Graduates and Ph.D. Graduates Streams and the Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream is currently 30-60 days.

The processing time for the following streams was 60-90 days.

• Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream

• Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream

• Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream

• Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker and

• Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream

The expression of interest (EOI) assessment in the Entrepreneur Stream still takes less than 30 days, while the application processing is determined by the complexity of the business nomination application. The province has still not received its 2022 allocation from IRCC.

Take note that applicants must apply to IRCC when nominated for permanent residence by the OINP. It is the IRCC who makes the final decision on who gets permanent residence.
