The IRCC has announced an online survey for newcomers.

The Canadian government launched a new online survey on February 23, 2022, asking newcomers about their experiences of discrimination in their city or town.

The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will use the results of the survey to evaluate IRCC’s service and awareness campaigns’ effectiveness. The government will send invitations to immigrants who are at least 18 years old and who obtained their permanent residency in the years 2015, 2017, and 2019.

This survey was effective on February 23, 2022. The online survey will be available both in English and in French. Newcomers will have to complete the survey by March 9, 2022. Newcomers who reside outside of Quebec must complete the survey.

Participants will receive an email inviting them to complete the survey online. Also there are no attachments and email address will be given to participants to contact IRCC with any questions. By participating in this survey, it will help IRCC to improve the experiences of newcomers in Canada.
